Introduction of the
SolidMesh Save State. The
Save State file retains all connectivity, geometry,
and mesh attributes and certain interface information. The
Save State file will save the geometric model in the exact
current state. For example, if edges or vertices were
manually glued because they exceeded the
glue tolerance, the edges and vertices will remain glued
when the Save State file is re-opened.
Discrete geometry information is also
retained in the Save State file.
Integration of CAPRI.
CAPRI provides SolidMesh the ability to import native solid model
or shell data from various CAD vendors. Through CAPRI,
SolidMesh has the ability to read
STEP
and native CAD models from
Pro/Engineer,
UniGraphics (NX),
SolidWorks,
OpenCASCADE,
Catia V5, and
Parasolid.
CAPRI is licensed from
CADNEXUS. CAPRI is currently
available only for the Linux-x86 version of SolidMesh.
