Biography
Riku got his Bachelor's degree from Nihon University, Japan in 2020 and his undergraduate research is the estimation of pedestrian dynamics using motion capture system. He joined CAVS in Fall 2021 and works under Dr. Carruth Daniel as a graduate research assistant. He also works as an Ph.D. student in Computational Engineering at MSU. He serves his skills for not only Autonomous Vehicle team, but also Athelete Engineering team at CAVS.
Research Interest
Currently, he works for driver's risk assessment and modeling for autonomous vehicles and driving assistance systems. His research interests across autonomous vehicle, human factors, wearable devices, and data processing.
