Biography
Tyler is a growing researcher with over 5 years of professional experience. Tyler graduated with a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering in 2015 from Mississippi State University and started in a master's program in 2016 also at MSU. During this time, he worked for CAVS at both the undergraduate and graduate level before being hired at CAVS full-time during graduate school. He continued his studies, graduating with his master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Fall 2018. Tyler also earned an MBA in Project Management in May 2022.

During Tyler's time at CAVS he has worked on several diverse projects including, but not limited to, vehicular autonomy, collision avoidance, sensor processing, high-power DC-AC modulation, system data interfaces, user machine interfaces, hardware design, and data processing.

Tyler primarily works in software development, embedded applications, and control design. He also has skills working with hardware and technical equipment such as oscilloscopes, PCB milling and high-power PSUs. Tyler was promoted to Research Engineer III in January 2022 and continues to search for opportunities to learn and participate in research projects.
