Horstemeyer Earns SEC Achievement Award
April 13, 2015Dr. Mark Horstemeyer received a regional award for his commitment to teaching, research and scholarship.
Horstemeyer, a professor and the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) chair in computational solid mechanics, has earned the 2015 Southeastern Conference Faculty Achievement Award for Mississippi State University.
He is one of 14 professors from across the conference who earned this distinction along with a $5,000 honorarium. He is also eligible for the SEC Professor of the Year Award, which will be announced later in April.
Horstemeyer joined the Mississippi State faculty in 2002.
