The MSU EcoCAR team had a special treat recently as Mississippi governor Haley Barbour made a trip to Starkville to visit the team and congratulate them on their recent success. On display were the winning MSU EcoCAR vehicle, as well as the former champion, the MSU Challenge X vehicle. The governor remembered driving the Challenge X car previously and asked questions about the technology in the new EcoCAR vehicle. He was especially interested in the plug-in technology that lets it travel 60 miles using only electricity. Governor, we’ll keep working hard to represent Mississippi and MSU well!
