Statistical Analysis High Strain Rate Experimental Data

The experimental data obtained from the SHPB tests were presented as mean true stress-strain data ± Standard Deviation (SD). Statistical analyses of three parameters, namely the tangent modulus, peak stress and strain at the peak stress, were conducted using the SigmaStat 3.0 software (SPSS, Chicago, IL). A One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method was used for statistical analysis on the three parameters, with a Holm-Sidak test being used for post-hoc comparisons. A paired student’s t-test was used to calculate the mechanical difference between the three parameters at different strain rates. For p < 0.05, the mechanical difference at various strain rates, for a particular parameter, was considered to be statistically significant.
