Jennifer has been employed with MSU for over 16 years. She is currently an Administrative Assistant II for several research areas. She has experience with invoices, purchasing, shipping, travel, events, correspondence, scheduling and arranging meetings, and assisting the business office. She has had university training in BANNER invoicing, requisitions and purchasing, leave, payroll, and additional training in ACCESS, and EXCEL. She is well versed in CAVS and University policy.

She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2010 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies in the areas of Social and Behavioral Psychology and Human Development/Family Studies, and vocal music and completed her Masters degree in Sociology in 2015. She is currently a doctoral degree candidate (ABD) in Sociology.

Her current research is in the area of Social Inequalities and focuses on Gender, Sexuality, Diversity, and Inequalities particular to the Deep South region of the United States.

Her Masters thesis used data obtained from the MSU's Bagley College of Engineering to examine the effects of gender, race, and grade level on interest, relevance, and perceived confidence in science among middle school students in 10 counties in Mississippi
