In March the team made a trip to Lucedale, MS where they spoke to a high school, attended an alumni event, and exhibited the vehicle at a dealership.

The Challenge X team helped out with the Eggcellence competition in February. The Eggcellence students built vehicles and competed with each other. The Challenge X team go to show of the vehicle they built, too.

The Challenge X team travels to California, where they participated in the Challenge X winter workshop, media ride and drives, and the EVS 23 conference. They also participated in a road rally with the other teams.

In February 2007, the team went to the SAE Hybrid Vehicle Technology Symposium in San Diego. David Oglesby, our team leader, gave a presentation on our team's design, and we exhibited the vehicle outside the symposium. We also took the opportunity to make a classroom visit with the San Diego team. We also had a little fun, visiting the famous San Diego zoo.
