Vision and Motion in Natural Task Performance
PI: Daniel Carruth, Mark Thomas
Team Members: John McGinley, Teena Garrison, Chris Blackledge
Capabilities: Exo-skeleton Motion Capture Suit
Description:
New technologies allow us to effectively investigate human performance on more natural and ecologically valid tasks. As part of our digital human modeling effort, we are interested in human perception, cognition and action during natural tasks.
This project uses a Gypsy motion capture suit and a Mobile Eye eye tracker to collect data as participants perform numerous natural tasks including object sorting, model assembly, human-machine interaction, and navigation.
