The 2008 IEEE International Power Modulator Conference (2008 IPMC) will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on The 2008 IPMC combines both the Power Modulator Symposium and the High Voltage Workshop. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Electron Devices Society and the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society. Join us for a presentation by Bob Barker of
the many different sights, events, and attractions that Las Vegas and the surrounding area has to offer. Following a half-hour
presentation, Bob will lead and narrate a bus tour up the Vegas strip, culminating in a stop at the Stratosphere Tower for one hour.
Enjoy the lights and glitz of Vegas from the top of the Tower. The bus will then take us the 
short distance to Downtown Vegas-Fremont
Street for a walking tour of the original heart of Vegas. Our hour there will include at least one free "Fremont Street Experience"
lightshow. Attendees will return to Mandalay Bay approximately at 11:00 pm with still plenty of time to experience the Vegas night life
on their own. (The price includes tickets for the Stratosphere Tower. Tickets are limited on a first come first serve basis. Tickets
are available through the online registration.)
