| Biography: | Donald started working at CAVS in Decemeber '07 after receiving his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering/Solid Mechanics from Brown University under the guidance of W.A. Curtin. The title of his dissertation was "Atomistic modeling of nanoscale deformation". Donald received his B.S. in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines ('01). | |||||

| Research Interest: | Donald's research interests include atomistic modeling and multiscale modeling of materiels. His current research focuses on atomistic modeling of void nucleation at triple junctions in metallic systems. He is also beginning to work with molecular and coarse-grain modeling of polymers. |
