Biography:Zach L. Rowland

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mississippi State University (1990)
M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mississippi State University (1992)


Mr. Rowland is the Deputy Director of the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) at Mississippi State University. Prior to joining CAVS, Mr. Rowland was the Director of Electrical Engineering at Strattec Security Corp in Milwaukee, WI. His career includes over 12 years in the geophysical exploration industry and 10 years in tier-1 automotive industry management. He has been awarded 2 patents for engine controls systems (fuel injection and ignition control)and has several patents currently pending.

He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE). Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the Civil Air Patrol.

Current activities include:
